Lauren Grasso, a young CA member, presented an introduction to International Financial Reporting and the Fundamentals of Financial Statements to all the students of Academy of Entrepreneurs’ network.

We realized entrepreneurs have different skills but often don’t comprehend financial issues in their business. Few of them know a bit, but most of them don’t have a clue and are easily throwing away money, and can’t recognize an easy fix.

Not all entrepreneurs know how to set up, write, read and interpret financial statements, that’s why is very important to become a member of an accountant association like Chartered Accountants ANZ.

Entrepreneurs need to be financially educated and empowered to run their businesses efficiently.

It’s very important to understand the situation they are in,  their budget, and understand potential financial issues and their gravity.

“When you don’t budget, you can potentially spend carelessly, further depriving yourself the financial umbrella you may need on a rainy day”

Identifying the problems can help effectively find a solution within your team or networks.

Joining an accounting association offers the opportunity for financial education, and empowered entrepreneurs will build their success with a strong business foundation.
