Why Australia is the best country in the world in which to become an Entrepreneur, and how the government makes it so easy

Have you dreamed of starting up your own business? Or perhaps you know you want to create something, but you’re not sure what? Or have you already started?

Whatever stage your at, Australia is the PERFECT country in which to start your own business. Not only has the Australian economy grown year on year for the last 30 years until 2020, but the Australian government makes it super easy to become an Entrepreneur!

There are different ways of funding to support valuable entrepreneurial ideas that contribute to the Australian economy. The governments financial schemes include promoting cooperation between researchers and the private sector, granting permits more quickly or even automatically, developing IT tools for entrepreneurs and helping entrepreneurs access networks.

In 2019 alone, 63 617 new businesses in the construction sector alone entered the Australian market place.

That’s astounding! And goes some way to showing the excellent economic conditions and the ease with which one can open their own business here (yes, even if you have a student visa!). Are you wondering how you can get financial support to start your own business?

There are a few options, however,  the Entrepreneurs’ Programme which offers grants through the Accelerating Commercialisation fund is by far the most popular. Applicants may request financial support from $13,000 to $250,000 for up to two years. Another option is the CSIRO Kick-Start which is for entrepreneurs who have launched their business already. They can expect a supportive sum from $10,000 to $50,000. And as if that wasn’t enough, there’s also the Export Market Development Grant (EMDG), which was set up for aspiring and current exporters from different industries.

On top of this, did you know that it costs $0 to start a business? Yes, $0!
